Meet Dr. Day

Approach

Dr. Day grew up in Rochester, Minnesota where, at the age of 14 and in braces himself, he decided to become an orthodontist! After graduating from Mayo High School, he attended Brigham Young University where he completed his pre-dental requirements, majoring in Biology. He received his DMD with high honors from Oregon Health Sciences University, graduating first in his class. After serving active duty in the US Army as a general dentist in Europe for three years, Dr. Day returned to the University of Louisville for his Master’s in Oral Biology and certificate of orthodontics.

He then served as Chief of Orthodontics at the Army Hospital in Fort Bliss, Texas, working on soldiers with difficult surgical orthodontic needs. Meanwhile, Dr. Day also worked at a civilian orthodontic practice once a week and on the cleft lip and palate team at the Border Children’s Health Clinic. His educational background and extended experience in the field of dentistry make him capable of providing service above and beyond the norm.

Meet Dr. Rush

Dr. Benjamin Rush is so excited to be back in our beautiful state, as his Arizona roots run deep. He was raised in the valley and graduated (as Student Body President) from Mountain View High school before earning a bachelor’s degree at Arizona State (summa cum laude) and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale. Dr. Rush then joined the U.S. Air Force for 5 years and solidified his dental and leadership foundation as a Captain. He was selected for promotion to Major before he separated to pursue advanced training and a master’s degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Loma Linda University.

Dr. Rush spends most of his free time with his beautiful wife, Chelsi, and their 5 children. He looks forward to evenings and weekends when he gets roped into games of freeze tag or family room wrestlemania. Dr. Rush loves to talk Arizona sports, workout routines, and anything to do with teeth. He loves his family, his patients, and his ortho team.
